Hi, I’m Richard

I’m an undergraduate at the University of Michigan studying electrical engineering, physics, and computer science.

I’m currently doing research at the Rajagopal Lab, working on a project to develop a microwave antenna to control quantum states of Rydberg atoms.

This summer, I worked on the design and simulation of superconducting microwave quantum devices at the Institute of Quantum Computing’s Engineered Quantum Systems Lab under a MITACS Globalink Internship. I was also part of the Undergraduate School for Experimental Quantum Information Processing’s 2026 cohort.

As the projects and education director at the University of Michigan Quantum Computing Club (QuantUM), I’m building a project team focused on superconducting quantum chip design and hosting introductory quantum computing workshops in Qiskit leading up to our annual IBM Qiskit Fall Fest hackathon.

I’m looking for 2027 internships in
